Salt City Circus and Pneumatic Arts are teaming up to offer a 5 day flying trapeze retreat. Everything a Salt City Circus retreat offers with the addition of a flying trapeze rig and a focus on flying skills.

Pneumatic Arts is a flying trapeze entertainment and education company. Their mission is to increase the awareness and appreciation of flying trapeze throughout the world with unforgettable performances and all levels training and workshops. Pneumatic Arts was founded in 2018 by renowned flyer Jordan Tribble. Blair Aued then joined the team and has taken Pneumatic Arts to new heights. Jordan and Blair have traveled around the world performing, teaching and producing one of a kind acts and shows. 

Their coaching philosophy is focused on teaching trapeze theory and the physics of flying so they can provide their students with the autonomy to objectively examine their own flying when they return to their home rigs. They aim to leave their students feeling, empowered, confident, informed and fulfilled!

Tuition covers all meals and snacks, daily trapeze workshop, video review sessions, your choice of additional ground and aerial classes, open jam sessions in the barn, professional photo shoot, guided hikes, lodging, and airport shuttle to and from the retreat at designated times.

 

Salt City Circus cabin has four large shared bedrooms: two bedrooms in the upstairs loft and two basement bunk rooms. Apply early to get your top pick for sleeping arrangements.

 

Your spot is secured after registration form is returned and $300 deposit is received. 

 

The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

50% of tuition will be due within 30 days of your registration (deposit counts towards this 50%). Full payment of tuition is due no later than two months before retreat begins. If this presents a serious hardship for you, please contact us about a payment plan.

Actual schedule will be sent with registration packet.

Lead Coach

Dave Cavaletto

Dave started his acrobatic career as a trampolinist, competing with the Canadian National Team in double mini. He made his transition from gymnastics to flying trapeze  in 1997, and has been active in the trapeze community as a performer and instructor since. He has experience teaching and performing in nine different countries. He has performed for the Netherlands National Circus in England as a catcher, flying with POP circus in Japan and also flying in Circus Jordan in the US and Canada. Dave works with people of all ages and abilities, but his specialty is helping intermediate and advanced flying trapeze students achieve their personal goals.

Nate Dee

Since joining the circus 7 years ago, Nathan has not looked back. Having specialized as a "catcher"
on the flying trapeze, Nathan enjoys sharing the magic, beauty, and thrill of the circus with all. Nathan is currently based in Seattle, Washington where he is an instructor and performer at Emerald City Trapeze Arts.

Rex Lee

Rex began their journey as a flying trapeze instructor in 2014 with TSNYDC. Fueled by a love for trapeze and a desire to watch people learn and grow, they have since then traveled the world coaching and studying humans in motion. In addition to coaching, Rex also began performing last year as a catcher with Emerald City Trapeze Arts. They are excited to join the team for the Salt City Circus retreat, and can’t wait to see all the amazing things folks will accomplish there! When not on the rig, Rex loves swimming, playing piano, and taking long walks on the beach.
